I updated the Baked Oatmeal recipe. Specifically, the amount of milk. Upon Tricia‘s recommendation, I tried it with two cups instead of one…and I liked it. It was moister – more Oatmeal, less Baked, if you know what I mean. But still with a defined soft crust. I found that I still preferred the one cup version with ice cream. (Which is a very important thing for you to know.)
But it’s delicious either way. We made it with apples, raisins, and sunflower seeds tonight for dinner. I’m liking plain yogurt as my favorite garnish lately, though I vacillate betweent that and cream. Mmm.
